Packing for an international mission trip is not like packing for a vacation. Please carefully review the packing list link.

In many of the cultures we visit people dress very nice for church and we wish to honor their custom by doing the same. Dresses or skirts for the ladies and a dress or collared shirt for the men are the usual attire for church. Scrubs may be worn in the clinic.  Clothing should contain no unchristian messages. It is of utmost importance that we dress in a neat, clean, and modest fashion. Our appearance is important not only for the missionary’s reputation, but the way the local people will perceive you.  Laundry is done daily on the boat.
