Come join us as we take a FAME Team to Brazil! We are very excited to be partnering with Central Brazil Mission to serve in the Amazon.

Central Brazil Mission has faithfully served the people of the Amazon for generations, bringing the hope of Christ to remote river communities through compassionate healthcare and church ministry. Partnering with Central Brazil Mission, our team will live aboard a boat that has been specially outfitted as a floating medical clinic. As we travel along the Amazon River, we will stop in villages to provide medical care to individuals and families who have limited access to healthcare while building meaningful relationships within each community.

Providing compassionate medical care is one way our team can serve, but there are also many opportunities for non-medical volunteers to encourage, pray with, and connect with those we meet. We also hope to share practical health education while supporting the ongoing ministry of Central Brazil Mission and the local churches they serve alongside.

These floating medical clinics create opportunities to strengthen the ministry of Central Brazil Mission as they faithfully reach remote communities throughout the Amazon. Through these relationships, the hope of Jesus Christ can be shared, lives can be transformed, and local believers can continue the work long after our team has returned home. Our ultimate goal is to glorify God in everything we do while serving alongside our Brazilian brothers and sisters in Christ. We also hope to encourage the missionaries and ministry partners as they faithfully meet both the physical and spiritual needs of the people they serve. This experience is adventurous, challenging, rewarding, and deeply humbling as we join God in the work He is already doing throughout the Amazon.
