Come join us as we take a FAME Team to Colombia! We are very excited to be partnering with La Costa Colombia to serve in Barranquilla.
La Costa Colombia is committed to serving communities throughout Barranquilla by meeting both the physical and spiritual needs of individuals and families. Partnering with local churches, schools, and healthcare providers, our team will provide compassionate medical care through mobile clinics while building meaningful relationships with the people we serve. Local medical students and healthcare professionals will work alongside our team, creating opportunities to learn from one another while serving together in the name of Christ.
Providing compassionate medical care is one way our team can serve, but there are also many opportunities for non-medical volunteers to encourage, pray with, and connect with those we meet. We also hope to share practical health education while supporting the ongoing ministry of La Costa Colombia and its local church partners.
These mobile medical clinics create opportunities to strengthen the ministry of La Costa Colombia as they faithfully serve their communities throughout Barranquilla. Through these relationships, the hope of Jesus Christ can be shared, lives can be transformed, and local churches can continue the work long after our team has returned home. Our ultimate goal is to glorify God in everything we do while serving alongside our Colombian brothers and sisters in Christ. We also hope to encourage the local pastors, medical students, healthcare providers, and ministry leaders as they faithfully meet both the physical and spiritual needs of those they serve. This experience is exciting, challenging, rewarding, and humbling as we join God in the work He is already doing throughout Colombia.
