Come join us as we take a FAME team to Thailand! We are very excited to be partnering with Asian Christian Services to serve at their clinic in Mae Sot Thailand.
Mae Sot sits at the border of Myanmar (Burma) and Thailand. The ACS clinic is serving thousands of refugees who are fleeing Burma, as well as those who live in the surrounding area.
Treating the basic health needs of people who will come seeking treatment is one of the ways our team can be used in ministry. In addition, we hope to provide preventative health education that speaks to the specific health needs of the patient,
Medical outreaches open doors for our Thai hosts to engage in personal relationships with those who come to receive treatment from our team. Through those relationships, the good news of Jesus can be shared, and ultimately lives will be transformed. Our ultimate goal is to bring glory to God in all that we do while serving in Thailand! Our hosts need encouragement as they serve the Lord each and every day in some pretty challenging conditions. We want to join them as co-workers in the ministry they have been called to do. This experience is exciting, challenging, fulfilling, emotional, and most importantly, humbling.
