Dear Prayer Partner,
As we enter this season of Thanksgiving, we are reminded of God’s many blessings and His continued faithfulness to the ministry of FAME. We are especially grateful for you, our faithful prayer partners, who continually lift up FAME and our mission partners serving around the world.
This month, we invite you to pray for FAME’s staff, asking God to provide wisdom, encouragement, and strength as they serve in their various roles. Please also remember our Short-Term Trip Leaders, who generously give their time and talents to lead teams serving alongside our mission partners. Pray for God’s guidance as they prepare for upcoming trips and for the lives that will be touched through their service.
As highlighted on November 1 on the calendar, our inventory of over-the-counter medicines and vitamins is critically low. These supplies are essential for our short-term mission teams as they provide medical care to those in need. Please pray for God’s provision and consider helping us replenish these supplies. As a reminder, our monthly prayer calendars continue to include CarePoint Prayer Points, focusing each week on patients, healthcare staff, access to medical care, and the spiritual impact of the healthcare ministries we support. We encourage you to continue lifting up these important areas in prayer.
November also brings two important missions conferences: the International Conference on Missions (ICOM) and the Global Missions Health Conference (GMHC). Please pray for meaningful connections, new partnerships, and opportunities to share FAME’s mission of medical evangelism.
We are excited to announce five new Sustainable Healthcare Projects that were approved at the October Board Meeting! Please join us in praying for these projects as our mission partners work to expand access to healthcare and share the hope of Christ. Please pray for God’s provision, wisdom, and protection throughout the development of each project, and that these healthcare projects will open doors for sharing the Gospel.
- Kenya: New ambulance for Talek Health Center – Community Health Partners (CHP)
- India: Staff housing at Kamacam Hospital – Rural India Christian Mission (RICM)
- Philippines: New clinic construction, Phase 3 – Village of Hope
- Dominican Republic: New ultrasound machine – GO Ministries
- Ghana: Kumdi Clinic replacement – Ghana Christian Mission (GCM)
