Sometimes hope doesn’t arrive in big, visible ways.
Sometimes… it shows up at just the right moment.
In Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a university student was recently involved in a serious car accident. He suffered a badly broken leg and underwent surgery. But after the procedure, there was a problem.
The hospital did not have what he needed to send home for basic recovery.
Something simple. Something essential. Something we often take for granted.
Word of the need began to spread. A church leader heard, a call was made. And quickly, a FAME partner responded.
Pastor Enoch Ngungu brought what was needed directly to his home, providing it freely, at just the right time.
Those in his home and on his street were amazed. Not because it was complicated.

Not because it was expensive. But because it was there when it mattered most.
In a moment of vulnerability, dignity was restored.
In a moment of uncertainty, care was provided.
In a moment that could have felt forgotten… hope arrived.
Your FAME partner shared this: This donation came at the right time. It brought joy and hope to someone in a very difficult moment. FAME is making a big difference in vulnerable people’s lives.
That’s the heart of the Road to Hope.
It’s not just about buildings or large projects, though those matter deeply. It’s also about meeting real needs, in real moments, for real people.
Because when something small shows up at the right time…It becomes something significant.
As you may have seen in our recent mailing, your partnership through the YES Fund helps make moments like this possible:
- Supplying a hospital with a surgery theatre
- Supporting care for mothers with a safe delivery
- Providing disease prevention before it starts
- Bringing compassionate care in the name of Chris
Around the world, hope is moving closer—because people like you choose to respond.
Would you consider taking a step on that journey?
Together, we are delivering Clinics. Care. Christ.
