Come join us as we take a FAME Team to the Philippines! We are very excited to be partnering with the Charles W. Selby Memorial Hospital to serve in Aparri.
The Charles W. Selby Memorial Hospital has faithfully served the people of northern Philippines for decades, providing compassionate healthcare while sharing the love of Christ. Partnering with the hospital, our team will have the opportunity to serve through mobile medical clinics in the surrounding communities of Aparri, as well as by assisting with clinics at the hospital itself. Together, we will care for individuals and families who have limited access to healthcare while building meaningful relationships within the community.
Providing compassionate medical care is one way our team can serve, but there are also many opportunities for non-medical volunteers to encourage, pray with, and connect with those we meet. We also hope to share practical health education and support the ongoing ministry of the hospital staff and local churches.
These medical outreaches create opportunities to strengthen the ministry of the Charles W. Selby Memorial Hospital and its partners as they continue serving their communities. Through these relationships, the hope of Jesus Christ can be shared, lives can be transformed, and the work of the local church and hospital can continue long after our team has returned home. Our ultimate goal is to glorify God in everything we do while serving alongside our Filipino brothers and sisters in Christ. We also hope to encourage the hospital staff and ministry leaders as they faithfully care for both the physical and spiritual needs of those they serve. This experience is exciting, challenging, rewarding, and humbling as we join God in the work He is already doing throughout the Philippines.
