“About 100-150 people every day.”  Was the answer to the question we asked John from Guinea of how many people their hospital and clinic serve. He was sharing with the FAME staff about their work and the shipping of medical supplies from FAME to their new Maternity Clinic!

“One of the most dangerous places for a pregnant woman to give birth is West Africa.  I was only in Africa two weeks when I had my first encounter with babies and mothers dying needlessly.  Almost weekly we hear of another death.”

But because of YOUR generosity, YOU are helping to improve that situation. Maternity Beds and other supplies are on the way to Guinea West Africa right now. One goal of partnership is to well equip FAME mission partners so that opportunities to share the gospel come from quality care.

One of the supplies sent to Guinea is “blue surgical towels” that are donated from a children’s hospital here in Indy on a regular basis. This bag in the photo brought on this response from John this week when he shared, “We are the only Hospital in the country of Guinea that has blue towels!”

In many countries around the globe, the competence and compassion of the mission hospitals far exceed the Regional and government hospitals – and the generosity of people like you allows FAME to supply their needs, in a quality way, so the good news of Jesus can be shared!
